Your story begins with a Wish.

You are a silly-looking cat attempting to navigate the mundane challenges of adulthood. Traverse a doodly world full of humor while rolling your dice Dungeons & Dragons-style to succeed or fail in comically exaggerated ways! Every task has multiple outcomes.  Can you find them all?

...

...Despite everything you're doing to distract yourself, your doubts linger with you from last night.

No matter how hard you work...

No matter how long you work...

You can't shake them.

It seems like this world feels them, too.

~ Features ~

  • 50+ really bad but lovingly drawn illustrations.
  • You can fight a potted plant.
  • There's a hippie dog who gives you life advice.
  • I swear some of the tasks are funny

This game was made for Safe In Our World Mental Health Game Dev Champions 2024! The original concept was made for Godot Wild Jam #71 back in July, well within this jam's time limit. Certain backdrops and the dice sound effect are public domain, but art/music/other stuff was made by me!

Thanks so much for playing!

Post-jam updates:

> Fixed bug that crashes web version when looking out the window.

> Final boss dialogue now displays properly in Windows version.

> Squished various other bugs, oversights, and formatting oopsies.

> Added some new sound effects.

If you find any bugs I missed, feel free to let me know!

Haha, thanks for the laugh, and the absurd dice-rolling way of navigating life. Your art inspires me, who struggle to feel legitimate doing game art, to keep trying, because it's a huge part of the charm of the game despite being technically wonky <3
